Server Audit

Drop your server folder on the page and find out which files go over FiveM’s limit, which conflicts and duplicates you have and which manifests are missing.

  • FOLDER
  • YTD
  • YFT
  • LUA

In short

  1. 01

Choose or drag in the server’s resources folder. Tick “Full analysis” if you also want repeated textures.

  2. 02

Read the summary: the total download, files over 16 and 48 MiB, conflicts and duplicates.

  3. 03

Fix the problems in the “Problems” tab, errors first, and download the report for your team.

What you get

A Markdown report with every problem, the heavy files and what to do for each. Your files are not changed.

Step by step

01Drag in the resources folder

Press “Choose the folder” and pick the server’s resources folder, or drag it onto the page. A single category folder such as [cars] works too. Your files stay on your computer: only headers, fingerprints and manifests are read.

“Full analysis” also opens every YTD to find textures repeated across different dictionaries. It takes longer on a big server; turn it on when you want to clean up video memory.

02Read the summary

The cards at the top show how many resources you have, how much each player downloads, how many files pass 16 MiB (where FiveM prints its warning) and 48 MiB (where models may stop loading), how many conflicts there are and how much space the duplicates take.

Memory is what FiveM counts from the file’s pages, not the size on disk: a 9 MB YTD on disk can ask for 20 MiB in game.

03Fix the problems, worst first

The “Problems” tab lists them all, errors first. Each one has the resource, the file and what to do, for example “Add this_is_a_map to the manifest” or “Run the file through Asset Optimiser”.

“Conflicts” are files with the same name in two resources but different content: the game loads only one, by start order, so a car or a garment shows up wrong. “Duplicates” are identical copies that every player downloads more than once.

“Download the report” saves everything as Markdown, ready for a ticket or for your team. The audit is part of the plan and costs no credits.

04Run the audit again after the fixes

Once the heavy resources went through Asset Optimiser and the duplicates are gone, drag the folder in again. The cards show right away how much the download dropped and how many files still pass 16 MiB.

Keep the old report: the two Markdown files side by side show your team what changed.

Questions

Why is a small file on disk reported as large?

On disk the file is compressed. FiveM counts the memory it needs once unpacked, from the pages declared in its header: that is where big textures and geometry show up.

Are my files uploaded to the site?

No. Everything runs in the browser, on your computer. Only the report is downloaded, also locally.

What does “files without a resource” mean?

Game files in a folder without fxmanifest.lua. FiveM doesn’t see them at all; move them into a resource or make it a manifest with Resource Builder.
